What a year! Looking back on 2025, one thing stands out at tapio: continuous improvement. Over the past twelve months, we have consistently pursued a clear mission – enhancing the experience of our users. In other words: tapio did a thorough spring cleaning.

Looking back: What did we achieve?

True to Swabian tradition, we did a thorough cleanup: sweeping, decluttering, and restructuring – exactly where it really matters, in the areas that make your workday noticeably easier. Our focus has always been on one goal: making digital applications as simple, intuitive, and efficient as possible.

Here are the highlights of a year in which we reimagined the digital experience at tapio.

tapio in a new look

You gave us feedback – and we listened. The result: comprehensive updates to the user interface in two of our core applications.

Our central platform, My tapio, is barely recognizable today. The design has been cleaned up, modernized, and clearly structured. The goal was to provide fewer clicks, less searching, and more guided actions exactly where they are needed.

The tapio Store also moved closer to your everyday workflow in 2025. In addition to the public store, it is now directly integrated into My tapio. The principle: buy where you manage.

This removed a frequently mentioned obstacle and significantly simplified the path from purchase to full setup of all tapio and tapio partner apps. A particular highlight is the individual subscription configurator, guiding you step by step through all customization options so apps and add-ons perfectly fit your needs.

Additionally, we advanced internationalization: purchasing and usage are now seamlessly possible in even more countries via My tapio.

The ServiceBoard as also been completely redesigned. In the new ticket overview, all important information – now including the machine name – is permanently visible across PC, tablet, and smartphone. This ensures better orientation, faster responses, and significantly more efficient service communication.

twinio conquers timber construction

2025 represented growth not only in breadth but also in depth. Through close collaboration with strategic partners such as WEINMANN and the BeA Group, we successfully opened our digital tool management system, twinio, to the timber construction sector.

This expansion is much more than a technical adjustment. It reflects our clear commitment to providing digital solutions across the entire value chain – cross-industry, practical, and future-oriented.

You can find more about this in our blog post: twinio now also for timber construction.

New countries, new languages

Alongside functional enhancements, in 2025 we also significantly expanded the international reach of the tapio ecosystem. Our solutions are now available in numerous additional countries, including:

Albania, Bahrain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and the United Arab Emirates.

At the same time, we added more language versions. Since 2025, our applications have been available in Slovenian, Ukrainian, Uzbek, Russian, and Portuguese, among others. This helps remove entry barriers and enables intuitive use – regardless of location or language.

You can always find an up-to-date overview of countries and languages here.

LIGNA 2025: The stage for our stars

LIGNA 2025 was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the year. With around 1,300 exhibitors and approximately 80,000 professional visitors from around the world, the world’s leading trade fair for the wood processing industry provided the perfect stage for innovations.

For the first time, we were able to present the redesign of My tapio, the integrated store, and the new twinio dashboard live. The direct feedback on-site confirmed impressively that our path toward human-centered digitalization is the right one. We would like to sincerely thank everyone again for the numerous positive – as well as constructive – comments.

Outlook: What will 2026 bring?

2025 was a powerful start, and in 2026 we will take the next step. Our vision continues to become reality:

Centralization & Global Rollout: The subscription management and new checkout developed in 2025 are about to be launched. In 2026, they will be available globally for new and existing customers. My tapio will thus become the central single point of management for the digital workshop.

twinio Power Features: With the new Dashboard and Analytics add-ons, twinio gains true analytical capabilities. Combined with machine connectivity, twinio becomes the ultimate tool management system for data-driven decisions.

Unified User Interface: Following the successful redesigns of My tapio and ServiceBoard, twinio Office will follow in 2026. The goal is a modern, unified, and consistently intuitive user experience across all tapio apps.

Thank you & looking forward to a strong 2026

Finally, we sincerely thank all our customers, partners, and supporters for their trust. We wish you a peaceful holiday season, a relaxing end of the year, and a successful start to the new year.

We look forward to continuing to shape the digital workshop together with you in 2026. Until the next spring cleaning!

Cheers 💚
