Risk-free machine connection

Our connector initiates a secure connection from the machine via an OPC UA interface, without opening public firewall ports. The communication takes place over the standard HTTPS port 443 and is protected by multi-layer encryption as well as individual certificates. As a result, connecting the machine to tapio is risk-free, as there is no possibility for external access to the machine or the use of open ports.

Once you have given your consent, the shared data will be exchanged, so that you can get started with the app immediately.

Central administrative service

All users and apps are managed and authenticated using Microsoft Entra ID. Entra ID is a globally proven service which is used for Microsoft 365, for example. This centralized management offers numerous advantages, including the immediate removal of access rights to all apps if a user is deleted centrally in My tapio.

Key vault

Azure Key Vault offers total protection for all keys, secrets and policies. The vault ensures secure storage and guarantees access only for authorized persons. The administration takes place in HSMs which are certified according to FIPS 140 level 2.
