The App Launcher in the My tapio home area has been redesigned to simplify usage and create a clearer distinction from the app management section.

All apps are now displayed in a clear list with name and icon and can be launched directly from there as usual. The previous "Mark with star" favorite function has been replaced by drag-and-drop for repositioning.

In addition, the card view has been removed. The new layout now more clearly distinguishes between launching apps from the Home area and managing apps under the "Apps" menu.

The setup assistant in My tapio now helps with setting up apps and add-ons. When a new app, add-on, or a combination of both is ready for setup, a notification will appear at the top of the page under the “Apps” menu.

By clicking “Set up”, you are guided step by step through all required settings. In addition to the familiar assignment of machines and users, permission keys for add-ons and service partner relationships, e.g., for sharpening services, are now also requested directly during setup.

The Setup Assistant ensures that all configurations necessary for the functionality of an app or add-on can be completed centrally and easily.

A new search function is now available in the tapio Store. Users can search specifically for subscriptions, apps, app packages, categories, or app developers to find relevant products more efficiently.

The search for apps or add-ons displays all subscriptions in which the selected app or add-on is included or available as an additional option. The relevant subscriptions are listed under the searched app or add-on. This provides a clear overview of which products are relevant for the intended use.

Additional updates in the tapio Store:

  • The “Sharpening Service LINTERA Riga” add-on for twinio is now available.

  • Detailed information is now provided for all add-ons directly in the store.

From now on, in My tapio, apps can be directly assigned to or removed from machines in the Production section as well as from users in the Users section. The assignment is made directly to the respective machine or user. This eliminates the need to assign each app individually from the Apps section for newly created machines or users.

Assignments of machines and users in the Apps section remain unchanged.
