What is QuickConnect and how can I use it?

QuickConnect is a feature that allows you to connect machines particularly quickly to your My tapio company account.

Requirements:

  • The machine is connected to the internet.

  • QuickConnect is available and open on the machine.

  • For HOMAG machines, you can find QuickConnect under:
    powerTouch menu → More applications → tapio QuickConnect

How to connect your machine via QuickConnect:

  1. Log in as Admin to your My tapio company account.

  2. Navigate to Production in the menu.

  3. Click on Add machine in the upper right corner and choose QuickConnect.

  4. Enter the first code from My tapio in the upper input field on your machine and confirm with OK.

  5. Your machine will now generate a 12-digit code.

  6. Enter this code in the corresponding field in My tapio.

  7. Click on Add to complete the connection.

Note:
If your machine does not support QuickConnect, you can instead use EasyAdd to connect the machine manually.
