How do I create and use QR codes for tools in twinio?

In twinio, you can assign a unique QR code to each tool. The QR code can be printed out and attached to the tool. This allows the tool to be called up directly using a standard scanner or the scan function in twinio.

How to create and use a QR code:

  1. Select the individual tool in the tool overview.

  2. Click on the ID with the QR symbol or on the "ID" field to open the QR code.

  3. Download the QR code via Download as PNG.

  4. Attach the QR code to the corresponding tool.

The tool can then be called up using a standard scanner or the twinio scan function on a mobile device.

Optional: Via Edit ID, you can edit the tool ID and QR code and then save them.

Note:
With the "Digital Scanning" add-on, you can scan factory-lasered IDs directly and create tools digitally. You can find more about the license in the tapio Store.
