How do I create and use QR codes for tools in twinio?

To identify tools in twinio, you can assign a unique QR code to each tool. This can be printed and attached to the tool. The generated QR code allows the tool to be accessed via a scan with a standard scanner or directly using the scan function in twinio.

Here’s how to create QR codes:

  1. Select the tool in the table

  2. Under “Actions”, click on “QR Code”

  3. Download the QR code or print it directly

  4. (Optional) Edit the tool ID using the pencil icon (✏️) and save

Note:
The “Digital Scanning” add-on allows you to scan factory-lasered IDs directly and create tools digitally. You can find more about the license in the tapio Store.
