How do I sharpen my tools in twinio?

In twinio, you have the option to record and document maintenance and sharpening work on your tools. For blunt tools, you can activate the sharpening status.

Sharpening with a sharpening service

Select the individual tool in the table.
Select Sharpen at the top.
Select a sharpening service (add-on) and add the tool to the sharpening order.
Open the draft in the Sharpening orders tab and proceed with Checkout.
Download the codes and attach the corresponding code to each tool. Then hand the tools over to your sharpening service. This allows the sharpening service to assign the tools to the respective order and you can track the progress of the sharpening order in twinio.
The sharpening order can only be completed once the sharpening service has finished the order.
Enter new measured values and confirm with Save.

Manual sharpening

Select the individual tool in the table.
Select Sharpen at the top.
Select Sharpen manually and confirm.
Open the draft in the Sharpening orders tab and proceed with Checkout.
End the sharpening order after completion of the sharpening process.
Enter new measured values and confirm with Save.

With the completion of the sharpening order, a new tool cycle starts. You can find past sharpening cycles in the tool view under "Process data".

Alternatively, you can create a new sharpening order in the Sharpening orders tab via Create order.

With the add-on "Digital Sharpening", you can integrate sharpening services and track sharpening orders directly in twinio.
