New tapio partner: Ulrich Rotte GmbH

The specialist for plant engineering and conveying technology is passionate about the ecosystem approach

With Ulrich Rotte Anlagenbau und Fördertechnik GmbH, a new partner has become part of the tapio ecosystem. The globally operating machine and plant manufacturer from North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, is specialized in automation, robotics and special plant engineering and puts networked production at center of all action. With its innovative concepts for the intelligent control of production processes, the company is playing a pioneering role. For this purpose, the medium-sized company has developed the so-called Smart Factory Platform and, thus, provides its customers with its own operator assistance system. This system is used to set up and commission machines and to identify and eliminate machine issues. These features also apply for furniture production.

The next step is now reasonably to further advance the connectivity of customers' plants via the tapio ecosystem and to support the ecosystem approach in the further development.

We at tapio are happy to partner with Ulrich Rotte and its implementation strength for our constantly growing ecosystem, especially as Ulrich Rotte wants to contribute to service-oriented solutions with tapio. In the first kick-off at the beginning of 2021 with Felix Haneke, Dr. Franz-Barthold Gockel, Corinna Rotte, Mario Vinski, and Julia Kasper (see picture above) machines have already been connected with tapio and are, thus, ready for integration into existing tapio applications. We are excited to see what steps will follow within the ecosystem. Only together we can put the vision of the digitally diverse ecosystem into practice.

"The tapio network, consisting of well-known partners and service providers, also offers new opportunities to exploit joint synergy effects in order to further drive the digital transformation in the industry, across all sectors." Dr. Franz-Barthold Gockel, Managing Director Ulrich Rotte GmbH
